The Role:

As our Club Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in growing the club through membership sales and managing customer service delivery to our members to provide an exceptional member experience.

This multifaceted position involves executing sales, managing phone queries, driving KPIs, and enhancing retention efforts.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Proactively seeking and generating new sales leads and referrals. 
  • Collaborating with the team to exceed sales and retention targets and KPIs. 
  • Managing Overdues, cancellations & enquiries to meet company targets. 
  • Supervising the Reception team, providing training and ongoing support. 
  • Addressing calls, handling queries, and resolving complaints. 
  • Following directives, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely completion. 
  • Assuming responsibility for the club’s day-to-day operations.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Gym experience preferred but not required)
  • Experience in a KPI-driven environment with a natural drive to achieve targets and team goals. 
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome obstacles. 
  • Excellent communication abilities, with a focus on empathy and influence. 
  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to exceptional outcomes. 
  • Passion for health & fitness and eagerness to contribute to the industry. 
  • Be reliable, proactive, punctual, professional & well-presented.
  • Be highly motivated & an adaptable team player with the ability to multitask and show initiative. 
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems. 
  • Adherence to policies and procedures of the business. 
  • Proficiency in using social media (Facebook + Instagram) to enhance the club’s exposure. 
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to acquire)
  • Flexibility to work hours suitable for gym operations. 
  • Australian working rights.
