Job description

MS Queensland is at the brink of expansion, embracing innovation and creativity in service delivery. We are seeking a Customer Support Officer who will be the first point of contact and introduction to the Neuro Wellness Hub. This new role plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service. 

Supported by the Customer Support Leader, the Customer Support Officer will use strong customer experience and communication skills to support key areas of the business with various administration tasks.   

Working 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 8am – 4pm) from our brand-new purpose-built workspace nestled at Milton’s Park Road, and accessible by multiple public transport options, join a respectful, supportive, transparent, and collaborative team at MS Queensland where values are at the core. 

In this position, you will: 
  • Ensure high-quality customer service to all visitors, customers and staff by addressing their questions, concerns, and requests with tact and sensitivity. 
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls/messages to the relevant departments and teams. 
  • Assist customers in accessing allied health and other support offered as part of our Neuro Wellness Hub, offering guidance and information as needed. 
  • Maintain the high presentation standards of the Neuro Wellness Hub, ensuring common areas and kitchen are safe, clean, organised and impeccably presented. 
  • Support administrative tasks such as the processing of incoming and outgoing mail and general ad-hoc requests. 
About you: 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele and team members. 
  • Empathy for the needs of other people and commitment to improving the lives of people living with MS and neurological conditions. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to liaise with individuals at all levels in a professional, confident, engaging and timely manner. 
  • You have a down-to-earth, energetic, team-orientated, can-do and hands-on approach to work with the ability to work independently. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of information technology systems including Office 365 environment, Microsoft word, Excel and more. 
  • Flexibility to work additional days for leave coverage is highly desirable.

An NDWS clearance and completion of the NDIS Online Worker Training Module will be required for this role (prior to commencement).
