Your New Role 

We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced Customs Compiler to join our team on a full time basis located in our Bankstown Airport office. 

Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Classification of goods based on Customs Regulations and through Customs Tariff, Tariff Concessions and FTA.
  • Classification and lodging Tariff Advices.
  • Maintain Database for clients and Hellmann.
  • Discuss any day to day problems with Customs Brokers.
  • Taking appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances.
  • Prepare and review Customs documentation 
  • Responsibility for completing a Skills Inventory and to ensure that all training received is recorded on personal Training Inventory.
  • Collaborate / suggest new ideas and forward thinking with the Customs team.
  • Liaise with Australian Border Force, Quarantine and other regulatory bodies to facilitate the customs clearance process and resolve issue that may arise.
  • Provide exceptional customer service with internal and external stakeholders by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Customer service is crucial in this role which means you will need to exercise a level of professionalism and understanding when it comes to customer needs. 

What You Need

We will help you be successful in this role. To start you will need:

  • 1 years experience in similar role 
  • Experience and knowledge in Customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • High attention to detail
