As a CX & Service Designer in the Strategic Design and Customer Journeys team, you will work with a skilled group of designers to help champion Customer-Led, Digital-First improvements for Westpac's customers. Pairing with other Designers you will work on the validation of strategic ideas, discovery and early ideation activities using a wide range of Human Centred Design practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Help drive Customer-Led, Digital-First projects for Westpac's customers using empathetic and modern design practices
- Produce high-quality outputs that are empathetic, robust and compelling
- Deliver research and discovery activities, including shaping 'how might we statements', market scans, plus qualitative and quantitative interviews
- Develop and deliver end-to-end Customer Journeys, Customer Value Propositions and Service Blueprints
- Work collaboratively with other designers on projects using a Human Centred Design methodology
- Help facilitate workshops that are purposeful, engaging and deliver outcomes
- Collaborate closely with Westpac's wider Digital Experience team, business stakeholders, as well as Product and Transformation Delivery teams, to shape digital initiatives leading to agile delivery

What do I need?
You will have 1 to 5 years' experience as a Service Designer in a service orientated business.
You should also have:
- Practical experience in driving excellence through customer research and Human Centred Design improvements and innovations
- Experience in designing, conducting, and guiding customer research activities
- Experience in using digital tools, e.g. Figjam, Miro, Dovetail, Maze, etc.
- Persuasive communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience to help manage expectations effectively and clearly, while championing human centred design practices
- An inquisitive mind that embraces learning
- Knowledge of project management disciplines and delivery of quality outcomes
- Experience in consulting, agency and financial services (highly beneficial)
