Randstad has partnered with a Federal Government organisation committed to placing stakeholders at the heart of their work. We're looking for an APS6 Project Officer with Service Design experience to join this team. The team: The Service Design Division collaborates with stakeholders to design and implement improvements, delivering quality outcomes for participants and enhancing their experience. The Division focuses on creating process, platform, and practice solutions that address priorities and embeds co-design and a stakeholder-focused approach into their work. The primary goal of all their design is to improve how participants experience the scheme and their interactions with the agency.
Responsibilities:
Researching and identifying insights creating a common understanding
Co-creating and documenting current state service through design and research, to identify current participant and staff experience and business processes.
Co-creating and co-facilitating process design improvements.
Advocating for the voice and experience of participants and stakeholders through work processes.
Co-facilitating design-thinking sessions with service users to design and test future service processes, channel and experiences.
Overseeing end-to-end service experiences in line with the Digital Service Standard, ensuring changes are based on participant and staff need and are consistent for all users across different touchpoints.
Contributing to the evaluation of proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level.
Assisting management with the use of system tools and other duties as required.
Requirements:
Service design experience: Theoretical understanding and practical application experience
Experience working in multi-disciplinary agile teams on large projects.
Stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
Ability to work autonomously and in a virtual team environment.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Research and analytical skills.
Experience with Jira or Confluence, or similiar project management tools (desirable)
Highly regarded if you have experience in: Disability (work or lived in), Government
Additional information:
37.5 hours per week.
Our client has a maximum of 230 working days under this contract within a financial year.
This is a temporary contract, loading is applied so there are no leave entitlements
