The Team
The esteemed Cyber and IT team is led by a well regarded Partner and has a well-established track record of providing particular expertise in contentious and non-contentious technology, privacy, data security, incident response and cyber insurance issues. Clients are across insureds and insurers.
You will join a close knit team working alongside the Parnter, a Senior Associate and an Associate.
The Role
To meet the growing demands of their Cyber and Technology practice, the firm is seeking a lawyer with minimum 3+ years of post-admission experience (PAE), with a background in Cyber and Technology law, and insurance knowledge as an advantageous asset.
The role encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Provision of incident response services.
- Assistance to businesses in recovering from cyber incidents.
- Ensuring compliance with privacy and notification obligations.
- Participation in the development of innovative cyber products.
- Dealing with IT claims of all sizes arising from allegations of defects and deficiencies in products and services and breaches of warranties and obligations as to minimum service standards, security and data protection.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in and extensive knowledge of ongoing developments in the Cyber and Technology sectors.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and adept at working at a swift pace to navigate tasks effectively.
- Be capable of managing client expectations and autonomously running matters.
- Be a team player, collaborating effectively on work and possessing skills to coach, mentor, and develop junior staff.
