About the role
If you are Security Analyst who has who has knowledge on areas like malware, intrusion detection and prevention, network security, endpoint protection, security incident response, vulnerability management. If these words excite you, then you may be the person we are looking for. As an Security Analyst, you will be working in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team who will support day to day operational security to customers and internal staff in conjunction with our vendors and partners. This position is required to be available for core business and after-hours support as required.
Job Requirements
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, and open-source security software
- Any experience in scripting and automation would be preferred.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, vulnerability scanning, packet analysis tools, networking, intrusion detection and prevention systems, web proxies, email filters, endpoint security, multifactor authentication, and PKI
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus
- A high level of organisational skills with an ability to work autonomously within a team
Successful applicant will have the opportunity to:
- Work with SOC to identify threats and investigate incidents.
- Support technical incident response activities when incidents are detected, either by our SOC or raised by our clients.
- Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments
- Manage and administer our core Security controls and systems.
- Keep our documentation updated.
