- Full-time ongoing position
- Located at EACH’s corporate office in Ringwood + Option to work from home 1 week each month.
- $100,000 to $130,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550
As part of our IT Infrastructure Team, we are looking for a Cyber Security Specialistto ensure our EACH networks are safe from external threats.
As Cyber Security Specialistyour responsibilities will include:
- Performing risk assessments of IT systems, networks and applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses, and collaborate with relevant teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Contributing to the development and update of Cyber Security policy, information security governance, procedures and guidelines.
- Reviewing IT system documentation including System Security Plans, Security Risk Management Plans, and other supporting IT system documentation.
- Collaborating with and conducting training sessions while offering advice on Cyber Security to service providers, other pertinent groups, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Staying updated on current and emerging cyber threats, as well as the latest security trends and industry best practices.
- Conducting forensic analysis to determine the root cause of security incidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Implementing and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other network security measures.

Qualifications
This is a role for an established Cyber Security Specialistwith extensive hands-on experience in a comparable position, as well as a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality customer service.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven knowledge of key security standards such as ISM, Essential 8, ISO 27000 Series.
- Familiarity with widely adopted security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Critical Security Controls, and their practical implementation.
- Proficiency in working with SIEM solutions to collect, analyse, and correlate security events for effective monitoring and response.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and experience securing cloud environments.
- Familiarity or certified in Azure security certifications.
- Good understanding of secure coding principles and the ability to collaborate with developers to ensure applications are developed with security in mind.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, anti-malware, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
Mandatory Qualification/s, Competencies and/or Licences
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CompTIA Security+, Certified Cyber Professionals (CCP) or other industry recognised credentials.
