About The Role
Are you a tech-savvy risk and controls specialist who loves a good challenge?
If so, you might be the perfect fit for Sportsbet, Australia's leading online betting platform. We are looking for a Cyber Security GRC Specialist who can help us ensure the security and reliability of our technology systems and processes.
As a Cyber Security GRC Specialist, you will work closely with our Technology, Risk and Compliance and Business teams to identify and validate our key technology risks and controls. You will also collaborate with the Senior Cyber Security GRC Specialist to design and implement a cyber security controls assurance program that meets the highest standards of industry best practices, Sportsbet security policies and external obligations (including ISO27001 and PCI-DSS).
You will join a dynamic and diverse Technology GRC and Cyber Security team that thrives on solving complex problems, protecting our customer data and having fun along the way. We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning new skills, building their career and making a positive impact on our business.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work with technology and risk/compliance stakeholders to refine and maintain the Technology Key Risk and Controls register.
- Leverage the Sportsbet Assurance Methodology to evaluate and test the effectiveness of key technology controls across applications/systems, processes and IT General Controls.
- Agree and report emerging risks or control gaps, and support the development and prioritization of remediation plans. Ensure recommendations are well considered and consider risk and commercial outcomes.
- Assist with management reporting and metrics on the risk and control landscape, including reporting on progress of key risk reduction initiatives.
- Coach and educate key Technology members on best practice risk management approaches to assist in nurturing a strong risk-mindset across our teams.
- Other duties include liaising with our Third Party Due Diligence team, maintaining a suite of IT Policies and standards and assisting in security awareness activities
