About the role
We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our growing Cyber Security Team. This is an opportunity for someone who has a strong Cyber Security background working in Operations or Engineering but is ready to step up, take charge and influence real change. The successful candidate will have responsibility for driving security initiatives across the Group to enhance our capability to Detect and Respond to Cyber Threats.
You will work as part of a small and supportive team consisting of Cyber Subject Matter Experts, where you will have the opportunity to perform Security and Threat analysis, Containment and Detection Engineering using a range of security technologies including SIEM, EDR and other Essential Eight technologies.
About you:
Are you a seasoned Cyber Operations Specialist or Detection Engineer working as part of a Security Operations Centre (SOC), or perhaps driving security initiatives as part of an Engineering, Infrastructure, Network, or Cloud team but looking for an opportunity to shift-up your tech career into Cyber Security?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the JB Hi-Fi Cyber Security Team and get involved with the latest Cyber technology where you can challenge and shape the way in which we Detect, Respond and Defend against an ever-changing threat landscape.
If you are proactive and believe in developing close working relationships across the Group, enjoy learning new technology and stretching the limits of tools then this is a perfect opportunity for you.
You will work as part of a passionate self-managing team, encouraged to drive change and be called on as a subject matter expert.
