You are an experienced Cybersecurity Network Engineer and hungry for your next career role. Working for a global brand transitioning their Cybersecurity Structure, including their Network Services Platform & Design Team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of network security solutions across diverse domains, ensuring the safety and integrity of critical network infrastructures.
Your Role and Impact This role is pivotal as you will collaborate closely with architectural and project teams, leveraging your expertise to develop solutions that significantly impact our domain. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring solutions and design standards are meticulously followed while identifying potential deviations that may influence performance, security, and lifecycle objectives.
• Facilitating end-to-end design alignment and capabilities with external vendors.
• Spearheading design workshops, contributing crucial information and solutions to advance network security projects.
• Providing invaluable support through the design approval process, including testing and acceptance phases.
• Engaging with vendors, including managed services providers, to ensure optimum capacity, lifecycle, and performance management of network systems.
• Assisting in deploying network designs, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and operational handover.
• Participating actively in weekly design and change forums offers insights into detailed designs and potential change impacts.

What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate embodies the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 5 years experience in network security or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in security architecture and environments, preferably within the Telco and Banking industries.
• Technical proficiency across various technology domains, particularly in Fortinet, Cisco, F5, routing, and security.
• A strategic thinker who can anticipate future trends and their implications on network security.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
