About this role:
Reporting to the Head of Frames, this role is accountable for the execution of the ANZ Frame strategy, including the delivery of the yearly Frame Launch Plan.
Utilising analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret sales analysis and consumer research, you will make appropriate ranging decisions that deliver the best outcomes for the business and for customers.
The Senior Category Manager has a thorough understanding of the business, industry, eyewear trends, and Frame range performance, to effectively communicate and collaborate with the Global team (UK based), with the aim to continually drive growth, profitability and exceed KPI’s.
Position Summary:
- Collaborating with the Head of Frames on the Frame strategy and planning process such as defining the product development priorities for our region.
- Effectively manage the Frame category by making educated ranging decisions about new launches, discontinuations, mix and pricing.
- Tracking the performance of the Frame range, new launches and refreshes by conducting sales analysis to continually optimise the Frame portfolio.
- Owning and leading the Frame category reviews including sales analysis, customer insights and competitor activity.
- Driving the growth, research, and the Frame development of Local & Limited Edition ranges.
- Building strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to effectively work cross functionally and influence decisions and outcomes that benefit ANZ customers.
Required skills and experience:
- Extensive experience working in a Buying, Product (fashion, beauty or FMCG) or Category Management role (essential)
- Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with proficient MS Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (essential)
- A Self-starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task to meet strict deadlines (essential)
- Presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written (essential)
- Demonstrated customer mindset and ability to efficiently engage with internal and external stakeholders /customers.
- A genuine passion for product is desirable.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in Commerce or Business Administration is desirable.
