Our client, Walford Anglican School for Girls is an independent, Anglican, day and boarding school for girls. The school is non-selective and caters for approximately 594 students from ELC to Year 12, including 70 boarders.
A professional, highly experienced administrator is sought for this parental leave temporary assignment from March to September 2024.
The Daily Operations and Curriculum Support Officer works closely with the Director of Learning and Teaching to ensure that all functions related to the school's daily organisation are well executed. A critical component of this role is managing the allocation of relief teaching staff on a daily and forward planning basis.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the allocation of relief teaching staff, record weekly activity, distribution of TRT forms
- Data input, preparation and maintenance of the school timetable, student timetable and related databases
- Administer the Yard Duty Roster
- Enter all awards in Synergetic and ensure accuracy of certificates
- Desktop publishing including student handbooks and Academic Certificates
- General administrative support to the Director of Learning and Teaching and the SACE Coordinator
- Assist with preparing exam supervision rosters
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite and databases (Synergetic an advantage)
- Sound keyboard, data entry, word processing and desktop publishing skills
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect training (or undertake the Fundamentals and book for the Masterclass - cost to be covered by client)
- Availability to commit to hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday
- Whilst experience in the independent or public school system is preferable, consideration will be given to high level administrators with exceptional coordination skills.
