With a high performing customer focused team, our turboprop fleet take to the skies each day with pride and professionalism, supporting the needs of the communities within regional, remote and outback Queensland and the Torres Strait.As Queensland’s leading regional aviation operator, we are committed to delivering the highest level of safety whilst ensuring excellent customer service for all our passengers via our Regular Public Transport routes, resource sector and government sector charter services.We have recently been purchased by Avia Solutions Group and have plans to expand our current operation to include ACMI services led by jet aircraft.About the roleWe are currently seeking expressions of interest from motivated, safety conscious and highly skilled Flight Crew who are interested in joining our growing team as a Dash-8 Captain based in Cairns. We are accepting applications from Pilots who are Dash 8 type rated or non-type rated.Following are the selection criteria for the role:
- Australian ATPL (A)
- 3000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours as pilot in command of multi-engine aircraft
- 500 hours in command of Turboprop or Jet aircraft with a maximum Take off weight > 13000kg
- Type Rating (DHC8) preferred but not essential
- CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
- English Language Proficiency Level 6
- Australian Multi-Engine Instrument Rating with IAP2D and IAP3D
- Possess high-level operational flight standards
- Motivation to perform in a disciplined and busy flight environment
- Industrious, proactive, and inspired to be part of a growing operation.
