You will be working in the Analytics section of the branch that leads analytical development of programs.
This includes costing the new multi-billion dollar reform program, demand modelling and scenario analysis, developing unit prices and consideration of program cost containment options.

In this you will be developing an Excel-based demand projection and unit pricing model.
The work you and your team will be work includes:
- Projecting the volume of assessments that will occur each year
- Developing bottom-up estimates of the unit price for different types of assessments
- Unit pricing X mins per task B, Y mins task C,
- Variables including state, region, provider, re-assessment rate
The Ideal Person
You will apply your intermediate or advanced skills in Excel (essential) and your experience in estimating costs and demand for new programs, products or proposals (Cost modelling).
You also have the skills to write a few lines for non-technical audiences including SES about what the output means for XYZ.
You understand the detail but can cut through it and make assumptions when necessary. You know when 80% > 99.9% accuracy will do for models to meet real world requirements.
Due to the data you will be working on an existing Baseline security clearance is required.
Salary / Rate
This role is being offered as either an APS5 or APS6 with an hourly range based on skills and experience between $70 - $85 per hour + super.
The initial contract is for 12 months.
Whilst the preference is to engage someone for a labour hire contract the client will also consider s26 transfer for the right person.
