Data Readiness -
Data Analyst, you will report to the
Migration Data Readiness Product Owner (which is in the Data Portfolio and delivers to the Customer Migration Portfolio) and work closely with
Data Analysts in Data Portfolio Retail Analytics - Initiatives - Migration squads. Our mission is to help customers achieve their goals by migrating them to products that better support the ways they save, use and manage their money, pay and get paid. We use design excellence to reimagine processes and iterate capabilities that will support customer migration.The
Data Analyst is critical to making this happen and will:
- Implement a fact-based culture throughout the bank; Fact base will contain Customer, Operational, Commercial, Market, Regulatory inputs aligned to business objectives (Migration)
- Generate, monitor, present and analyse relevant customer insights, costs, benefits, and risks for customers, clients and cohorts; this could include business casing, what if scenarios and opportunity sizing & assessments, and development and maintenance of dashboards and visualisations
- Sourcing data from a variety of sources to combine, synthesise and analyse to generate insights
- Contribute to the development of well-governed, shared and reusable data assets

What will you bring?To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Understanding of Data Quality requirements and treatment techniques
- Understanding of Data [Customer] Migration and how analytics can inform direction and address requirements
- Data Governance and Data Risk / non-financial Risk management
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation and presentation (e.g. SAS, SQL, Tableau, VBA, QlikSense)
- Strong ability to translate data insights into practical business recommendations
- Strong data visualisation skills
