A bit about the role
Seeking a skilled Technical Solutions Specialist. Responsibilities include configuration and deployment of solutions, data management (extraction, cleansing, migration), and system enhancement. Evaluate, install, and configure systems. Design and analyse data architectures. Contribute to policy development and budgeting. Analyse effectiveness of existing solutions and propose improvements. Document business requirements and recommend solutions. Promote best practices in application usage. Ensure solution quality, efficiency, and compliance with standards. Respond promptly to stakeholder needs. Additional project work as directed
What you will deliver
- Design, develop, and analyse data architectures and databases.
- Review and analyse existing solutions effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring they perform as specified.
- Develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems and increasing the level of process automation, including contribute to the continuous improvement of the department through actively and proactively recommending improvements in process, procedures and organisation.
- Identify and support the practical translation of conceptual requirements into business ready deliverables
What you will bring
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, ETL methods, database design and administration concepts, Microsoft Office suite, Windows Server and Workstation and reporting services.
- Knowledge of Council ERP Solutions and IT Support processes.
- Degree or Diploma in Technology or other relevant discipline together with several years of relevant experience
