That's why we champion an where everyone is supported to succeed..The Opportunity:The Group Manager, On-Premise Infrastructure and Private Cloud plays a pivotal role in leading and motivating a team of IT professionals who are integral in maintaining the University's critical enterprise ICT systems.This role focuses primarily on On-Premise Infrastructure and Private Cloud solutions, including Monash Data Centres, Storage Platforms, Private Cloud platforms, and backup infrastructure.To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:
- Leadership and Management: Utilize your proven ability to influence and prioritise effectively across diverse stakeholder groups. Maintain exceptional levels of customer service while managing a large technical team within the On-Premise Infrastructure and Private Cloud domains. You will be responsible for strategic staff planning, resource allocation, employee development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing technology roadmaps that align with the enterprise's strategic goals and operational metrics. Your leadership will be key in enabling ICT-enabled business process reforms through strategic stakeholder engagement, consultation, and negotiation
- Technical Expertise and Innovation: Show your adeptness in managing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment. You will need a robust understanding and managerial experience in Private Cloud architectures, Data Centre Technologies, various Storage and Backup Technology Stacks, Virtualisation architectures and principles, and Network architecture
