Role Overview:
As a Data and Analytics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of our brand-new end-to-end data warehouse solution. You will be responsible for setting up new data warehouses, developing data pipelines, and optimising data structures. Your strong technical background, particularly in SQL, will be essential for success in this role. Equally as importantly, we need your business facing/ communication skills to dig deep into the issues and to ask the right questions in order to set up the data for successful reporting. Your stakeholder management skills, along with your drive and inquisitive mind, will see you succeed in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of a new end-to-end data warehouse solution
- Set up and optimise data warehouses, ensuring efficient data pipelines and structures
- Collaborate closely with Reporting Analysts to identify data requirements and sources
- Provide overall responsibility for the Data Warehouse solution, ensuring its effectiveness and reliability
- Utilize broad experience covering various data warehouse solutions to inform decision-making
- Demonstrate expertise in working with SAP data, leveraging it effectively within the data warehouse solution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Proven experience setting up new data warehouses end-to-end
- Strong proficiency in SQL and other relevant programming languages
- Extensive experience developing data pipelines and optimising data structures
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with SAP data
- Familiarity with a variety of different data warehouse solutions
