Uniting cutting edge technology, Data and retail smarts, you'll work behind the scenes, in the margins and across every corner of the business - to uplift our capability, amplify our collective impacts and revolutionise the customer experience.What you'll doThis role is part of the Data and Analytics team in the Group Technology Portfolio and Planning team. The main purpose of the team is to manage the frameworks, processes and governance required for managing the Technology Portfolio budget, Capital Asset management, the Groups Cost Recovery processes and assist the People team with Workforce Planning processes, as part of this scope.

• Accurate and timely reporting of theTechnology portfolio including programme, project, budgets, resourcing, assets and other processes is required to meet the reporting requirements for not just the Group Technology stakeholders but external stakeholders as well.
• Working with the Technology Portfolio and Planning team, you will help shape the Data and Analytics reporting environment used by the team, building solutions to drive insights and consistent reporting for both Delivery Teams and Senior Management.
• To deliver cost-effective, quality, innovative technology solutions and services that support best practice data infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform).
• Prioritisation and management of competing work demands and ensure an effective balance of keeping the lights on and growth outcomes are achieved.
• Continually improving workflow and QA processes to ensure rework is minimised, quality targets are met and efficiency is optimised.
• Develop robust solutions and processes that are simple and comprehensive, ensuring the maximum availability of data
• Development of visualisations that support the monitoring of the environments and data access requirements of the customers. This is through Looker,Tableau or other relevant Google tools.
• Work with internal Technology stakeholders to ensure we are delivering the right outcomes for them and continually monitoring the effectiveness of the solutions over time.

What you'll bringWe're looking for a curious minded Data & Analytics Engineer with an appetite for problem solving and desire to continue growing their skills.You will be able to apply logic and thinking processes to analyse situations and problems to design effective solutions.

• Proven skills in Reporting, Data and Analytics Environments, including technical proficiency in SQL, Tableau or Looker and ideally GCP or Azure Cloud environments
• A test and learn mindset is key, with an ability to think clearly about the underlying business problems and to consultatively recommend data-driven approaches to solving them.
• Experience working consultatively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and managing workloads independently, prioritising and re-prioritising as required
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with key team members and business users.
