FinXL IT is working with a large federal government department to build their capability across a large program of work. Below are some of the roles they are looking to engage for this 3 year program:
We are looking for a skilled Data and Analytics Strategy Specialist/Support who will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, strategy development, and project management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and improve decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Data and Analytics strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of internal and external data sources to extract actionable insights and inform strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Design and execute data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Support the implementation of advanced analytics tools and technologies to enable predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI-driven insights.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to teams across the organisation on data-related projects and initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Data and Analytics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data strategy roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikSense.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Project management experience, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results.
- Knowledge of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and industry standards.
