About the role
FHR hires you, as a fulltime employee and we place you out for your practical experience with our clients. We register your training contract and support you while you study at your registered training organisation.

You will work with a vast number of Host Employers gaining a wide range of Data Comms training, providing you with the best opportunity to get the most out of your Apprenticeship! You will work full time whilst completing a 'Certificate III in Data and Voice Communications'.
Duties:
- Installation, maintenance and configuration of a wide range of technology including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Nurse Call, Audio/Visual, Access Control, Automatic Doors and Gates, Fibre Optics, RF Networks, WIFI Links and Data & Communications
- Ability to work to OH&S regulations
- Roughing in
- Mounting and interconnecting components to equipment
- Final test check, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Organisation and assembly of parts for jobs
- Equipment maintenance and general cleaning
- Working with cable trays and other cable support systems
Skills and Experience:
- Safety conscious
- Punctual
- Good attitude towards work
- Able to show initiative
- Ability to work autonomously
- A team player
- Not afraid to ask questions and learn
Requirements:
- Completed Cert II Pre-Apprenticeship course or experience with tools
- Current SA Drivers License
- Willing to undertake a Police Check and/or Medical
Apprentices will receive:
- JUNIOR pay rates respectively
- Accredited RTO/TAFE training
- Receive ongoing mentoring & support
- Receive a weekly pay
