Data Centre Engineer| 12-month contract | up to $1000 PD- Super included | AGSVA (desirable)About the opportunityAs a Data Centre Engineer, you will work on leading-edge technology with a keen focus on enabling the client's global customers to achieve successful business outcomes.You will lead a project team of engineers with varied breadth and depth of experience, and interlock with stakeholders to drive the business outcome for the customer whilst still being driven to engage in hands-on technical delivery.You will join a team of engineers to leverage your technical expertise, focused on their specific technologies and how to build a positive experience for the client's customers.The role sits within the Professional Services team. You will lead projects focusing on Data Centre solutions including VXLAN, NDFC, ACI, UCS. Potential for engagement in Cloud, Automation & Orchestration projects is also highly desirable.What You Will Do

• Focus on customer engagements that include plan, design, implementation, optimisation & automation services.
• Lead and own the technical engagement with customers, identify problems and build the best solutions.
• Understand and review customer business requirements and translate them to technical requirements and lead the design document creation, validation, deployment & automation.
• Build and maintain deep relationships with customers, partners and the extended delivery and account team members.
• Travel to customer sites will be required.

Required Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, deploying, operating, and leading scalable DC solutions.
• Experience In Plan, Design & Implementation of large and complex projects with a particular focus on ACI Multisite/Multipod, Next-Gen DC, Fabric Path, VXLAN, NDFC, NDI, UCS/Hyperflex.
• Sound Routing & Switch experience including Cisco networking solutions
• Experience in Cloud Solutions (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Working experience with HW/Platforms: Nexus Switches, Hyperflex, UCS, Cisco ASR, IOS, IOS-XR, IOS-XE
• Confident troubleshooting and problem management skills for client's DC portfolio
• Exceptional communication skills, including ability to translate complex technical issues to executive and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with DevOps principles
• Familiarity with Agile practices, software engineering,
• Ability to read and understand the code/ APIs, etc.
• Awareness of third party products/solutions in Network, DC and related technologies

Desired skills include:

• Experience in other Cisco technologies: SDA, SDWAN, DNA Center, Enterprise Wireless Solutions, ISE, Firewalls
• A self-driven individual with the curiosity to learn, work in a fast-paced changing environment, evolve continuously to keep pace with client's solutions, technologies and industry trends.
• High-level, out-of-the-box thinking, analytical reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to convert thoughts to real and pragmatic execution.
• CCIE (R&S/Enterprise/DC) Certification
• Cloud Certifications, AGSVA Clearance
