As our Data Engineer Lead you will be responsible for leading Smart Factory engineering projects in collaboration with other team members.
You’ll partner with global Supply Chain Data Engineering team to adopt global best practice factory data models and Data Engineering standards for ANZ.

The Smart Factories program will transform how we MAKE product in ANZ. It is a wide ranging program to build strong manufacturing data foundations and leverage these to optimise our factory operations now and In the future.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Define ANZ Smart Factory Data Engineering project needs In collaboration with the Smart Factory team and global Supply Chain analytics team
Hands on development on python, pycharm, spark to create standardised data assets, reports for factory business insights and optimisation models
Engage and collaborate with data and IT owners across Mars to drive data quality and availability, and ensure data improvement plans in place and support effective governance of Factory data
Harvest and maintain semantic and smart data layer and ensure holistic leadership of the data solution within the environment
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree level in Data Engineering related subject
Post-graduate qualifications in computer science, Data Engineering or related (desirable)
Professional qualifications in advanced data design, big data (nice to have)
Technical expertise in Big Data Tech Stack and experience in database and Data Engineering capabilities
Rich heritage in designing and building databases, analytics and BI platforms with Big Data
Including use of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, technologies across traditional and contemporary software (e.g. SQLServer, Hadoop, NoSQL DB), programming languages such as SQL, Python, Scala, R and visualization tools
Excellent communication skills, and interact effectively with internal stakeholders
Experience with Supply Chain and Manufacturing data (preferable)
