About the role
Based in our Docklands offices ESUPERFUND is seeking Professionals to join our growing Accounts team by providing Data Entry assistance. The role would ideally suit a recently graduated student with a Tertiary Degree in Actuarial Studies, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Information Technology or Mathematics.
Duties and responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Organise and prepare documents from various financial service providers, including banks and broker trading platforms, for efficient Data Entry
- Identify and extract key data relevant to tax preparation for data import
- Clean and convert source data into the required format compatible with the designated accounting software
- Address Data Entry errors, perform data reconciliation, and ensure data accuracy and consistency with source documents
- Confer with supervisor regarding incomplete information and make any required changes immediately
- Participate in testing and enhancing the accounting system's data import functionality
- Assist clients with queries regarding document requirements for tax preparation, data import issues, and client portal instructions
- Create and maintain logbooks of entered and changed data
- Other ad-hoc administrative tasks
Essential requirements and skills
- Graduates with a background in Actuarial Studies/Accounting/Finance/Commerce/Information Technology/Mathematics
- Achieve a GPA of at least 70%
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Strong analysing and problem-solving skill
- Be able to work well autonomously
- Have a can-do attitude and ability to handle pressures and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working under a multi-task & fast-paced environment is desirable
- Excel skills are advantageous
