A freight forwarding company is looking for a hard-working Data Entry Specialist to join their amazing team located in Australia!
You will be responsible for managing data and keeping it organized. Your main goal will be to keep data in order so that it is easily accessible at any time.
To do well in this job, you should collect information and capture data promptly to ensure the business’ databases are current to accurately reflect its developments, updates, and transactions. Top candidates will be focused, diligent, energetic and have good people’s skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Input new information into database systems.
- Create and manage spreadsheets.
- Control the data probity by performing comparative analysis of different sources.
- Regularly update existing database system records
- Produce reports.
- Retrieve data as requested.
- Perform regular backup and security database activities.
- Document, organize and store relevant documents.
- Accounting/Bookkeeping responsibilities.
Education and Work Experience:
- Previous working experience as Data Entry clerk or assistant is an advantage.
- Preferably with experience with MYOB or any similar accounting software.
- Fast typing skills
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and databases
- Proficient with spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Great attention to detail
