Position Overview:
As a Metering Data Provisions Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate provision of metering data and delivering exceptional Customer Service. This is a short term temp role to 30 June 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule meter readings for the NT Region, ensuring accurate updates and maintenance of meter details and data.
Meet deadlines for non-cyclic activities, including re-energising and de-energising power.
Action special reads and cycle readings on time, managing exceptions effectively.
Report meter data provision to stakeholders.
Provide high-quality Customer Service, responding to service requests, queries, and complaints promptly.
Support team members and contract field staff in investigations and operations.
Report any suspected meter tampering, hazardous installations, or access problems.
Enter meter data and fees to meet strict deadlines.
Participate in the review, development, and implementation of metering services procedures and policies.
About You:
The successful Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following criteria;
Experience managing large data files, including accurate volume Data Entry.
Clear articulate communication, demonstrated Customer Services skills and impeccable phone manner.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under time pressure and constraints.
Commitment to the contract term 30 June 2024.
Operational experience with multiple computer-based customer, meter, and/or asset information systems.
Ability to quickly learn new systems, prioritise work, and work with minimal supervision.
Experience working in a utility environment (desirable).
