Position Overview:
As a Metering Data Provisions Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate provision of metering data and delivering exceptional Customer Service. This is a short term temp role to 30 June 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule meter readings for the NT Region, ensuring accurate updates and maintenance of meter details and data.
- Meet deadlines for non-cyclic activities, including re-energising and de-energising power.
- Action special reads and cycle readings on time, managing exceptions effectively.
- Report meter data provision to stakeholders.
- Provide high-quality Customer Service, responding to service requests, queries, and complaints promptly.
- Support team members and contract field staff in investigations and operations.
- Report any suspected meter tampering, hazardous installations, or access problems.
- Enter meter data and fees to meet strict deadlines.
- Participate in the review, development, and implementation of metering services procedures and policies.
About You:
The successful Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following criteria;
- Experience managing large data files, including accurate volume Data Entry.
- Clear articulate communication, demonstrated Customer Services skills and impeccable phone manner.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure and constraints.
- Commitment to the contract term 30 June 2024.
- Operational experience with multiple computer-based customer, meter, and/or asset information systems.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, prioritise work, and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a utility environment (desirable).

- Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week
- $46.34 p/hr Super
- Immediate start contract term to 30 June 2024
