About the Role
Reporting to the Manager: Advancement Operations and Alumni Services, you will provide support for data functions in the Advancement Operations team including database management, data hygiene and Data Entry. You will undertake a range of administration activities and assist with the management of the Advancement Data inbox, responding to and resolving queries in a timely manner.
Configuration and cleaning of Data Entry, running reports, interpreting data and queries as well as report writing and creating event dashboards is a main focus of this role.

This includes the more than 240,000 alumni and friends of the University, members of the community and philanthropic organisations of all types in Australia and internationally. The Unit aims to secure financial support from donors who wish to contribute to the achievement of the University of South Australia’s vision and values; engage alumni in the life of the University as volunteers, advocates, supporters and donors; and manage relationships with current and potential supporters of the University.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Certificate in Business Administration (or similar) and/or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills in an administrative environment
- Demonstrated experience working with databases, high level Data Entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to understand data requirements using creativity and insights to prepare and write reports with data insights and analysis
- Demonstrated advanced computing skills to enhance work effectiveness, including proficiency in the use of a variety of computer applications including relationship/ direct marketing databases
