Wound Innovations is a growing national specialist service providing gold standard clinical services and education across a range of clinical settings. As well as having the opportunity to truly make a difference, the successful candidate will be well supported and forms part of the Wound Innovations national team.
Due to company growth, we are seeking a Data Entry / Scheduling Support Officer to join our national head office team based in Adelaide. The current opportunity is offered as part time with days and hours to be discussed with the successful applicant.
The successful candidate must be highly competent, a critical thinker, able to work in a fast-paced environment, have high attention to detail and have demonstrated Data Entry or senior administration experience. They will have impressive word processing and communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, multi-task and show initiative while working in a small team environment.
Key Duties include:
- Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all patients, facility staff and practitioners (both in person and over the phone).
- Collect and collate all required documents for new referrals.
- Processing of all new referrals into Best Practice that come through the service.
- Ensure that any requests by patients and practitioners are followed up with due diligence.
- Update and maintain the system so it is up-to-date and accurate at all times (such as patient information).
- Contributes to organisation goals by accepting ownership of fulfilling new and different requests
- Responding to phone and email enquiries in relation to new referrals
- Providing accurate and timely administrative and support services to head of Scheduling
- Experience operating a range of computer-based applications, including Best Practice, word processing, excel, database software and Dropbox.
About You:
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with a focus on Data Entry and customer service (essential).
- Proven exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures.
- An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve and maintain our commitment to service excellence and patient care.
- Experience within the health industry (desired)
- Experience with Best Practice software (essential)
- Excellent phone manner and the ability to quickly develop relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Intermediate level of skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and email).
- Honesty, integrity, and the ability to work with confidential information.
- The ability to work productively both autonomously and within a team environment.
