Status: Part time – 15 - 30 hours per week

Role Summary:
- To provide exceptional customer service, both face to face and via the telephone.
- To enter request form data into our Laboratory Information System efficiently and accurately
About The Role:
- Data entry of pathology request forms using laboratory application software
- Answering phone enquiries from the general public and medical practitioners
- Provision of results to clients and medical practitioners
- General administrative tasks
- Shifts will be scheduled 4.30pm - 9.30pm, Mon – Fri as well as a 5hr weekend shift
Selection Criteria:
- Previous DATA ENTRY experience and competence with a range of computer application programs.
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional accuracy in data transfer operations
- Well-developed general administrative skills
- Previous experience with or a sound knowledge of medical terminology - medical reception experience will be considered an advantage
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as autonomously when required
- An understanding of and commitment to privacy and confidentiality requirements within a medical setting
- A current Australian drivers licence
- The ability to live and work in Australia on a permanent basis at the time of application.
