Role Summary:
- To provide exceptional customer service, both face to face and via the telephone.
- To enter request form data into our Laboratory Information System efficiently and accurately.
About The Role:
- Data entry of pathology request forms using laboratory application software
- Answering phone enquiries, emails and in person enquiries
- Provision of results to clients and medical practitioners
- Handling accounts, appointment bookings and general reception tasks
- Courier services with report delivery and sample pickup as required
- This position will be expected to provide coverage as required Monday - Friday between the hours of 0700 and 2030 and Saturday's between 0700 - 1330.
- Other administrative tasks
Selection Criteria:
- Previous DATA ENTRY experience and competence with a range of computer application programs
- Previous experience with or a sound knowledge of medical terminology - medical reception experience will be considered an advantage
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional accuracy in data transfer operations
- Well-developed general administrative skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as autonomously when required
- An understanding of and commitment to privacy and confidentiality requirements within a medical setting
- A current Australian drivers licence
- Great availability to cover a variety of shifts Monday - Saturday.
