Let's talk about this role As a Data Governance Officer, you will work closely with various teams across nib Group in facilitating Data Governance forums, standards, practices, processes and issue management.Other key responsibilities include:Working in the Data Governance team to provide support and secretariat services whilst contributing to the enhancement and operationalisation of the enterprise Data Governance framework Assisting in the improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data Being part of the nib Group's data community and supporting all activities relating to enhancements to organisation policies and standards, governance metrics, training systems and related tools Working closely with stakeholders to identify and monitor data issues and support change management for improved data quality outcomesFor more information about our technologies and capabilities, please visit our tech page: https://www.nib.com.au/careers/techLet's talk about you With previous experience in a similar data role, skills and experience that will help set you up for success include:Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experienceKnowledge of Data Governance practices, business and technology issuesExperience in implementing governance frameworks and associated policies, systems and processesKnowledge of data related government regulatory requirementsKnowledge of risk data architecture and technical solutionsAbility to communicate, influence and manage stakeholder relationshipsExperience dealing with regulatory requirements such as CPG235 is desiredAt nib, we recognise that some people may only apply when their education, skills and/or experiences are identical to what an employer is looking for in a candidate.
