How you'll make an impact
AMP is on a journey to simplify, standardise and shift to data driven decision making. Data Governance and Management is a critical role in this transformation. There is a high degree of confidence placed on the accuracy of numbers provided by Finance.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working with high-quality data to perform a business data management governance and control function, and occasionally be involved in providing coverage for key Financial Systems. Performing Data Governance activities will ensure effective controls are in place that support and report to Finance key customers such as Board, Exco, Business Leaders the Market, Media and Regulators
Working with finance and BU data systems you will assist with remediate finance data issues, provide system Governance & finance systems solutions as well as perform front end (configuration, access controls, mapping) models and report development activities.
- Coordinate and drive data issue prioritisation and remediation
- Ensure data domain compliance with the Group's information management policies and standards.
- Manage and promote data quality through implementation of appropriate metrics, monitoring, and reporting mechanism across relevant platforms & technology teams.
- Leverage enterprise Data Management and Governance assets to discover critical data elements and drive data lineage.
- Develop and agree SLAs and other data quality controls & measurement criteria with appropriate business, data & reporting teams that meet Group Finance Reporting timelines.
What you will bring to the team
- Demonstratable experience in Data Management & governance, particularly in Finance
- Knowledge of Data Governance practices, industry leading data quality & data protection practices.
- Relevant experience in the Governance, Controls & Support for key finance systems like PeopleSoft & TLM will be an advantage.
- Skills in PeopleSoft, TLM & PowerBI would be particularly valued.
Additionally, you have a process improvement mindset in relation to governing finance data. You are good at building relationships, have an exceptional documentation and communication skills as well as the ability to drive decision, and provide quality work within deadlines and priorities.
