Job description

Job Overview:
An Australian agricultural company is looking to hire a Data and Integration Manager in a permanent role to ensure all data is consistent and reliable, enabling data driven decisions, while managing modern and reliable integration platforms within the organisation.
As a Data and Integration Specialist, you will design, prototype, and develop integrations to ensure a consistent and reliable flow of data for informed decision-making. Collaboration with business analysts, application stakeholders, and technical experts is paramount to delivering high-quality solutions aligned with customer needs.
Responsibilities include:
Integration Management:
  • Evaluate and select integration toolsets, establishing reference architectures and repeatable patterns for consistency.
  • Design, prototype, and develop integrations following a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach to ensure testing and quality.
  • Manage and support the integration platform to maintain high levels of availability.
Data Management:
  • Utilize advanced analytical skills to understand business requirements and determine data requirements.
  • Evaluate and design data stores to consolidate multiple source systems.
  • Establish and maintain periodic data loads (ETL or streamed).
  • Design, implement, and govern data models and standards across key business systems.
  • Collaborate with analyst teams to enable effective consumption and visualization of data for data-driven decisions.
Applications Development and Support:
  • Work closely with in-house and external core business application stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Build functional relationships with technical experts from various disciplines.
  • Demonstrate strong abilities in project planning and management.

  • Demonstrated experience running complex data and integration management within a commercial environment.
  • Strong Oracle background, with MuleSoft for Data Integration.
  • Excellent project planning and management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Stakeholder management skills at all levels.
