The opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia's (BDA) provides people, expertise, process and tools to manage aircraft design, repair and continuing airworthiness capabilities supporting program execution and growth opportunities. Forward looking, the Engineering function has developed a Capability Plan to enable the Engineering workforce to meet our defence customers' evolving needs, both in Australia and internationally.
BDA is looking for a Product Data Management Specialist to join the Engineering Strategy & Operations team, who are focused in creating Engineering excellence through diversity, culture, and strategic initiatives that will enable the workforce. In this role you will support E7-A Wedgetail aircraft fleet. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to step into the Data Management environment.
This role is ideally based at RAAF Base Amberley but can be based in Brisbane City, QLD.
As a Product Data Management Specialist within BDA, you will:
- Perform Data Management activities as part of an overall project plan.
- Assist with the flow of project-related data and library documentation within the Wedgetail team, and between internal and external agencies.
- Assist with data dispatch, packaging, protection and acknowledgement of receipt for Government Furnished (GF) system, Classified Data, Archived Data and documentation.
- Assist with to the development and implementation of Data Management plans, standards, processes, systems and tools.
- Able to work under supervision
About you
To be considered for this role you will have:
- A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a related industry
- Experience using Product Lifecycle Management system, electronic document management system, or similar.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
