One of Australia's Federal Government departments are looking to engage experienced Data Modellers / Analysts to implement a Data Migration, data integration and data management strategy for a project that will deliver a new IT application to replace the existing legacy system. The roles will be based in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with the successful Data Modeller / Analyst to be offered a 12-month contract + possibility of an extension option.
The successful Data Modeller / Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Migration of data to a transactional database from a historic data source using modern technologies and toolsets
- Detection and remediation of data quality problems
- Development of transactional and analytical reports
- Development of the user interface/s
The successful Data Modeller / Analyst will have experience in the following:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Data/System Analyst Modeller
- Designing data for web services
- Experience with Microsoft cloud platforms, Data Factory and SQL Server
- Analysing data-related system integration challenges
