The Role
Based at our Dandenong Head Office and reporting to the Planning & Development Manager, the Data & Performance Coordinator is integral to our future focus, efficiencies and optimal decision making through data analysis.
The purpose of the role is to provide direct support to internal and external stakeholders for Ventura’s Network Planning Department, as well as being responsible for the collation of operational performance and contract relationship reports, as well as taking an analytical and investigative approach to operational improvement opportunities. The successful person will be a key driver of continuous improvement through data realization and improved reporting practices.
This is an exciting role with growth opportunities within the Network Planning Department, responsibilities include:
- Utilise software including Excel, PowerBI, BusMinder, Smartrak and Myki Analytics data to compile reports on KPI’s including allocation, on-time running and missed services.
- Collaboration with Network Planners for data research and timetable analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Providing analytical and reporting support to departments such as Fleet, HSEQ and Operations.
- Extract, interpret and analyse data using statistical techniques to identify variances, trends and discrepancies.
- Reporting on business KPI’s for compliance and performance to our stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
About you
Applicants considered suitable for this position will have:
- A demonstrated background in a similar position with a strong focus on data analytics and reporting.
- Tertiary Qualifications in relevant discipline preferred, but not essential.
- Previous experience with PowerBI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver within defined regulatory deadlines.
