Your new company:
Victorian statutory corporation is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to be part of their Data Management Program team for a 6-month contract.
Your new role:
This role requires you to work closely with the subject-matter experts and assert the Data Quality scope of each entity. You’ll also:
- Define the Data Quality standards for the essential data elements.
- Assess the data, determine the current Data Quality level; this will involve examining both existing and new data.
- Resolve the Data Quality problems that are detected in the Assessment phase.
- Set up continuous Data Quality tracking dashboards and procedures to ensure quality is preserved.
- Understand and manage stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed:
This role requires relevant experience in data analytics, data processing, reporting and process development. It is preferable if you have worked in an asset-intensive industry;
- Deep understanding of Data Quality and its various aspects
- Proficient in Excel and SQL and have intermediate skills in Power BI, Python and/or R.
- Proven skills in data preparation, data cleansing and Data Quality analytics.
- Experience in Data Quality assessment and analytics in the context of infrastructure asset management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills;
- Familiar with The Victorian Digital Asset Strategy (VDAS)
- Knowing how to use Alteryx software – an additional plus
