Data Quality Solution Analyst

About the role
Our Government client is seeking to engage an Data Quality Solution Analyst for a 6 month engagement and will be involved in the organisations Investment Data Management (IDM) business unit.
The Data Quality Solutions Analyst will be apart of the Data Governance function within IDM and be responsible for maintaining and delivering Data Quality governance within the organisation.
Key responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis, design, documentation and maintenance of Data Quality principles standards and operating procedures across IDM
• Manage the evaluation of Data Quality procedures, system designs to maintain consistency with the Data Quality governance framework and design
• Document and maintain the organisations Data Quality governance roadmap
• Report and track the performance of Data Quality activities
• Work with technical and business teams to enable consistency and structure to the Data Quality services

Key Skills and Experiences:

• 3-5 years' experience in governing finance or investment data
• Experience maintaining and managing a repository of business and technical Data Quality information
• Demonstrated experience designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and analysing large data sets to optimise Data Quality outcomes
• Understanding of software lifecycle processes and experience working with various delivery approaches and ceremonies as part of agile or waterfall projects
• Experience in data extraction, e.g. SQL; visualisation technologies, e.g. Power BI, Tableau and Qlik and advanced analytics tools, e.g. R, Python
