SalaryIn this unique role, you will gain exposure working across every Business and Support Group in Macquarie, building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders and deepening your knowledge of business and operational processes, critical data elements, and data management frameworks.
We are looking for a delivery-oriented data professional who is able to work with stakeholders to understand their needs and mature their data management capabilities. You will use your ability to influence and support a diverse set of stakeholder Groups to effectively manage their critical data elements, as well as contribute to the broader data management team objectives of helping the group data teams to implement the Enterprise Data Management and Data Governance framework across Macquarie
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with all the businesses in driving consistent data governance, data management and data risk management practices across the enterprise
- Providing guidance on the critical data element identification, approval and definition processes and ensure preparedness of critical data elements and definitions in advance of presentation at the Data Governance Council.
- Guiding the group data community on how to consistently define business rules and quality requirements
- Guide the group data community on how to document core metadata in the Enterprise repository (Currently Collibra) and engage with technology partners to ensure the enterprise repository is fit for purpose.
- Track the progress of metadata adoption within Collibra through the data under governance activity.
- Uplift or create guidance to provide clear direction on metadata management practices
- Provide guidance and support, as needed, within change initiatives.
- 7+ years Senior Data Management experience
- Stakeholder management
- Strong delivery skills gained through project experience
- Experience working with business and technical project stakeholders to translate business requirements into data requirements / user stories
- experience with data mapping and tracing data lineage;
- experience defining data quality rules / business rules / data controls;
- Financial Services industry experience
- Experience with data governance and metadata management tools (Axon, Collibra, IGC)
- Exposure to / experience of operational risk management
