Our client is seeking a senior Risk, Governance and Audit specialist to join their team in Sydney. This role will be responsible for managing enterprise level risk, identifying legal, governance and compliance requirements and build continuous improvement capability. This role is pivotal in the organisational change and uplift by collaborating with business units and executives; designing information management processes and systems to support effective storage and retrieval of information as well as overseeing business continuity activities, complaints activities and a range of other business support functions.
The key responsibilities are:
- Build a culture of effective governance, risk management and compliance across the company
- Undergo high levels of internal stakeholder engagements from operations all the way up to General Manager levels
- Governance & regulatory compliance
- Policy portfolio management
- Quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Business continuity management
Your background:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and minimum 5 years’ experience within Risk and Governance (Experience within large Government and NPF organisations would be considered advantageous)
- You are passionate about Risk, Compliance and Governance along with working in a government role that aims to help others
- You will have natural curiosity, outstanding relationship building and influencing skills, strong business acumen and ability to work at both a strategic and operational level as required.
