What would be your key responsibilities?
- Leading the Data team and helping them upskill.
- Managing the Data team’s weekly priorities and team velocity.
- Building and maintaining datasets that provide business insights.
- Working with the team and partnering to build and release ML models.
- Integrating and monitoring the data and BI systems.
- Building dashboards.
- Working with other BI and Analysts across the company to ensure clean and consistent information.
- Automating and Operationalising the data capture to support reporting.
- Using ELT and similar tools to clean data, construct new data sets and provide insights.
- Providing guidance and support to the business on Data Architecture.
- Qualifications in computer science, data engineering or related (desirable)
- Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a small Data team, fostering collaboration, skill development, and a positive work environment.
- Experience working with ELT processes.
- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in data analysis such as SQL, DataForm, Python and Javascript.
- Experience working with GiT and BigQuery.
- Understanding of Common Data Transformation and Cleaning patterns.
- Excellent communication skills and interact effectively with internal stakeholders.
