Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of jet aircraft. As the Day of Operations Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Day of Operations planning and oversight for NTS Ground Operations. Additionally, you will play an integral role in the planning and communicating of task requirements for the Ramp Services functions.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate the Day of Operations changes in operating patterns to accommodate off scheduled operations, ad hoc charters and other special requirements
- Liaise with Workforce Planning regularly to provide feedback in efficiencies and task allocations.
- Provide communications, oversight, and guidance in the task allocation process,
- Identify task optimisation opportunities to minimise the impact on NAA customers (including passengers)
- Consult with Ground Service Supervisors and Workforce Planning to determine optimal outcome,
- Monitor and adjust workloads that are consistent with the Ramp EA and in accordance with the Ground Operations Fatigue Management Guidelines.
- Coordinate ad hoc operational changes affecting Day of Operations resourcing
You'll have:
- Demonstrated understanding within a Ground Operations or similar environment.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to work to a designated timeline
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate a diverse range of operational tasks. .
- Proficient in Microsoft Office -Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Experience using Webroster and Groundstar rostering platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence to delegate tasks in a fair manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
