Day Surgery Nurse EN/RN

• Experience in Theatre, Anaesthesia or Recovery
• Permanent Part Time, 24-26 hours per week
• Mon/Tue/Wed/Friday
• 8am- 5:30pm
• Day Surgery Setting
• Onsite Parking

Hamilton House is an accredited Day Surgery south of Adelaide, specialising in Plastic Surgery. Dr Richard Hamilton is the Medical Director and Principal Surgeon at Hamilton House. Skin cancers, hand surgery and cosmetic surgery are the main areas of surgery.
A position is available at Hamilton House Day Surgery for an Anaesthetic/Theatre/Recovery Nurse.
Key Criteria:

• Registered as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Recent experience as Anaesthetic Nurse
• Recent perioperative nursing experience as Scrub/Scout
• Recent experience as Recovery Nurse
• Private hospital/Day Surgery experience
• Sound clinical knowledge of patient care and outcomes
• Commitment to quality patient care and attention to detail
• Excellent consumer service focus and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work within a small team
• Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Accreditation processes
• Availability to cover during staff leave

Hours for this position are likely to be between 24-26 per week as permanent part time role across 3-4 days per week. A typical roster would most likely include: Mondays, Tuesdays, 2 out of 4 Wednesdays and 3 out of 4 Fridays.
Ideally suiting applicants with some anaesthetic/theatre/recovery experience, sound knowledge of operating room practices and procedures and an interest in further developing your perioperative nursing. A commitment to being part of a small team is important as is the commitment to the delivery of high standard patient care.
