The successful Nurse must be enthusiastic, vibrant and a strong team player who has a keen interest in General Practice Nursing providing good patient outcomes. We are looking for a Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our Team due to the recent growth in our practice.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and IT skills, be honest, reliable and professional.
Hours available from 25-30 hours per week. Rostered hours will be between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday with rostered Saturday morning work (1 in 6). Hourly pay rate is above award.
Flexibility is essential to cover additional hours for personal and holiday leave when and where necessary.
Selection criteria:
- Minimum 2 years experience in General Nursing
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Drivers Licence and Car
- Current child related Police clearance
Experience in
- Immunisation of children and adults
- Wound Care Management
- Sterilisation/ Infection Control and cold chain management
- Health Assessments and care plans
- Policy and Procedure Implementation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all ages and social groups
- Have a vigilant attitude to accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively with the ability to prioritise and organise whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Show Empathy and interest in the patient's needs
