Based out in Marsden Park, they are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic DC Security and Safety Facilities Manager to join their growing team.The Role:Reporting to and working closely with the DC Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Conduct risk analysis and manage risks within the Distribution Center (DC), taking corrective actions to prioritise the safety of individuals.
- Ensure the DC's adherence to global policies, standards, and local legislation, including security requirements and the Code of Ethics program.
- Maintain and uphold the site in optimal condition, implementing safety, security, and information security standards across the DC, including own sites, third-party logistics (3PL) sites, and split points.
- Execute and monitor the achievement of safety goals and action plans.
- Promote Health and Safety awareness within the DC.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks.
- Monitor shrinkage results and implement loss prevention strategies.
- Coordinate annual stock takes and related routines according to the garment flow.
- Educate and guide the DC team in relevant security areas.
- Support both people and business growth and development by ensuring adherence to the Security strategy within the DC.
- Initiate sustainable processes and challenge the existing setup from a sustainable perspective.

About you:To be successful in this position you must have:
- Extensive expertise in safety, security, and operational processes within the Distribution Centre (DC), demonstrating cross-functional proficiency.
- Thorough understanding of global policies, standards, and local legislation, including security requirements and the Code of Ethics program.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential risk areas related to health and Safety, as well as overall compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Holistic perspective, with a visionary approach to comprehend the bigger picture.
- Capability to foster collaboration, co-creation, and people development by empowering others.
- Agile mindset with a positive attitude towards change and meaningful growth.

Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
- Intermediate Proficiency in Excel
- Previous 3+ experience in similar role is advantageous.
- Experience in Safety and Compliance and knowledge in a warehouse with use of MHE is required.
