Job Description

Reporting to the DC Manager, DC Supervisor and/or the DC Team Leader, the DC Team Member is responsible for daily DC operations including picking, unloading, loading and counting products with a continual focus on Safety, Service, Cost and Team.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure that all incidents/injuries, near misses, and hazards are reported in a timely manner to the DC Manager.
• Handle products in line with safety and handling induction and training.
• Adhere to WH&S policies and procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring that all people on-site at the DC follow all relevant Safe Working Practices (SWPs) in accordance with the National Safety Plan. 
• Ensure the right training and processes are in place to minimise incidents/injuries.
• Process stock received into the warehouse as per company procedures
• Transfer stock to designated storage areas as per company procedures
• Pick stock to picking lanes as per company procedure
• Conduct cycle counts
• Perform any other suitable duties as requested by Supervisors or Managers in other areas of the business including but not limited to cleaning, receiving, returns, dispatch and administration
• Work as part of a dynamic Team to build better and safer procedures.
• Build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Experience working with appliances, furniture, or large bulky items preferred but not essential
• Strong safety focused including safe manual handling knowledge and experience
• High attention to detail
• Good multitasking skills and experience 
• Excellent team player
• Good communication skills
• A proactive, can do approach

• Permanent full-time position.
• Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
