Key responsibilities will be:
- Supporting and leading the development/update of various Destroyer Capability Enhancement and Authorised Maintenance Organisation policies/plans/processes
- Supporting the development of Capability Enhancement Integration Program and Destroyer Capability Enhancement Program performance and status reports, specific to Maintenance support services
- Managing the Destroyer Capability Enhancement Production Planning cell to administer all maintenance technical reporting and documentation for its status, completeness and correctness, failures and trends. This will also include maintenance of job records and identification of equipment undergoing maintenance, modification or being updated/upgraded
- Supporting the planning, development and estimation activities required for the Annual Work Program and Five Year Work Program
- Managing and supporting the development of the External Maintenance Period (ExtMP) work package. This shall include all preventative/corrective maintenance, Engineering Changes as well as any Set to Work, Test and Trials, Harbour and Sea Acceptance Trials
- Managing, triaging and coordinating the development of work instructions to support corrective maintenance tasks, including TM200s, URDEFs and all unscheduled/unplanned contractor tasks
- Coordinating and managing all Commonwealth Concurrent Work (CCW) included in the ExtMP work package, acting as an agent of the Commonwealth.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of the ExtMP Production Master Schedule, in conjunction with the Platform Installer
- Managing the receipt and maintenance of all Task Progress Completion Certificates and facilitate submission of work order Objective Quality Evidence provided for all ExtMP work package tasks
- Supporting the preliminary assessment of shipyard facilities required to support Destroyer Capability Enhancement Program production activities, including the development of necessary facility upgrades requirements and engagement with relevant internal/external stakeholders
- Attending and/or hosting regular Destroyer Capability Enhancement Planning/Facilities/Production/Safety Working Groups and/or meetings to facilitate the execution of the ExtMP work package
- Engaging and support stakeholders at all levels of the Program to actively facilitate and promote innovation and continuous process improvement
- Extensive experience in a Production, Scheduling/ Production Planning type role, preferably in the heavy engineering industries or equivalent tertiary qualifications or production trade experience
- Previous experience in Facilities Management
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated understanding of Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations requirements and processes
- Demonstrated understanding of Quality and Configuration Control
- Substantial knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) processes and toolsets
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- NV1 Security clearance or
- Australian citizenship
