The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated and integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
IUIH has developed the Deadly Choices Strategy in combination with consortium members across Queensland and the Deadly Choices brand and programs are widely recognised as a cutting-edge health promotion and education initiatives.
About the Role?
The Deadly Choices Program Development team is responsible for leadership in the ongoing development and review of the content, state-wide application and delivery of Deadly Choices programs to ensure the integrity, quality and effectiveness of program brand, implementation and outcomes. This position is responsible to:
- support program implementation and address issues as they arise through training, development and evaluation.
- monitor and review program delivery, content, systems, processes and outcomes, to inform continuous quality improvement, promoting standardisation and increasing integration with ACCHSs practices and programs.
About You?
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check
- Current Blue Card
- Desirable, but not mandatory:
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities.
